APPOINTMENTS: Pitney Bowes appoints new marketing director

Van Hees will oversee the document messaging technologies (DMTi) department of four people, and he will be responsible for all aspects of strategic, product and tactical marketing. As member of the DMTi management team Van Hees will administer the marketing and sales development of Pitney Bowes in the EMEA region.
He joins the company from digital print solution provider HP-Indigo where he spent three years as its EMEA category manager for supplies and media. Before this he worked for Kodak as its European business development manager for digital solutions.
Van Hees says, "This is an exciting time to be working in the mail and messaging industry. For our clients, the ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with their customers has never been more important. At Pitney Bowes our clear focus is on making our customers more successful and we are uniquely placed in our ability to do so by adding value at all points across the mailstream."
His new role will be based in Windsor.
