The International Confex event has launched a mobile internet platform to allow visitors to access information anytime, anywhere.
The event for people who organise meetings or conferences says visitors will be able to plan their days schedule, select seminars of interest and have exhibitor contact details at their fingertips.
Mobile marketing is becoming a key area for B2B marketers. Last year the Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB) launched a mobile site to promote the medium to businesses looking to establish a presence.
International Confex is one of those testing the mobile marketing waters and is pleased with the results. Kate Disely the group marketing manager for the event says, "The beauty of this service is that it makes it possible for people across the globe to access key details and updates on the show. The Confex mobile website is a great way to engage customers; it's easy to use and provides all the information people need when they are out and about."
