DIGITAL MARKETING NEWS: Sloan Valve launches iphone app to save H2O

Published: 06-01-2010

Sloan Valve Co has released a free iphone app designed to extend B2B marketing via mobile phones into the plumbing industry.

It is aiming the app at facilities managers, architects and engineers in commercial hospitality and residential markets. The Save H2O app calculates how much water is being used in a restroom and will calculate what saving can be made by switching to water-efficient plumbing.

The app can be used on the construction of new or existing facilities. Users input how many people use the restroom, the number of days a week it is in use and local water rates.

The water efficiency solutions company is hoping to increase sales by encouraging users to use its water efficient products as the app includes photos and specifications of its products.
