Marc-Sven Kopka has been named as the new vice president corporate communications at Xing, reporting directly to Xing CEO Dr Stefan Gross-Selbeck.

Before taking up his new post at Kopka was head of corporate communications and responsible for marketing and investor relations at WestLB bank in Düsseldorf, Germany. He was previously vice president of corporate communications for AOL Europe.

"Marc-Sven's appointment marks the arrival of an experienced communication strategist on XING's management team. His principal task will be to advance and hone the perception of our business network and company for the purposes of our strategic initiatives," said Gross-Selbeck.
