Company: Base OneAn internet ‘dinosaur’, Gifford has worked in the world of web sites and online marketing since 1994. Following a grounding in web site development, he moved into online marketing, working through the dot com bubble on integrated campaigns with a raft of blue chip clients using banner advertising and email, until in 2004 he encountered the world of search. Previous to Base One he spent four years in Paris where he set up the search arm of LSF Interactive, generating targeted traffic via SEO, PPC and Online PR for major French and European B2B and B2C brands.
