Siemens, British Gas, Direct Line, Lloyds TSB, Motorola, Citrix and Xbridge are amongst the list of the top-tier brands featuring on the shortlist for the B2B Marketing Awards 2009.

Publication of the shortlist follows completion of the first round of judging, conducted by an expert panel of marketers, and orchestrated by long-standing independent chairman Peter Young. "The first round was extremely tough," he comments. "Judges were particularly impressed by the sheer diversity of entries this year, with companies from all sectors of the economy submitting excellent entries."

Tables and individual tickets for the gala dinner, to be held at the HAC in the City of London on November 25th are now on sale - to book, download the form on the awards website and return it by fax, email or post. James Farmer, publisher at B2B Marketing, comments, "it's another fantastic shortlist representing the sheer diversity of the B2B sector. The gala dinner is the must-attend event in the B2B calendar - we've sold out each year to date, so anyone interested in attending would be strongly advised to book early to avoid disappointment."

The second round of judging will take place in September, with winners announced at the gala dinner.
